Legal Branch

Legal Branch administers t​he prosecution process for recovery of ​tax in default and non-filing of returns at the Magistrate, and facilitate to Attorney General’s Department regarding every legal matters on behalf of Commissioner General of Inland Revenue.

The main activities of the Branch

• Providing legal assistance and information to other units regarding tax cases.
• Providing information in respect of court cases on the request of Taxpayers.
• Coordination with the Attorney General’s Department.
